Sustainable Technology Network
If you have ever wanted to implement new technology but not known what is available
or where to get it - this new forum is for you.
The Queensland Water
and Energy Sustainable Technologies Network
(QWESTNet) has been established
by the Sustainable Technology section of the EPA to provide a forum for industry and technology suppliers to
network and discuss the latest technologies available.
The forums will be held every two months focussing on both industry
specific and technology topics relevant to Queensland businesses, such as process heating and cooling,
air-conditioning, lighting, energy recovery and re-use, renewable energy, water management. This forum
compliments the work undertaken by this eco-efficiency project as it promotes the uptake of sustainable
technologies and assist companies in accessing the latest information. The first meeting
will be held on Thursday 21 February at 9am - 1pm at Indooroopilly, Brisbane with the
focus on HVAC systems - Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning. For more information go to

Food Processing Project Launch
The project launch for the Eco-efficiency for the Food Processing Industry
on the 11 December was a great success, with participants being treated to first hand evidence of the success of
eco-efficiency. Below are the list of presentations provided at the launch.
