Eco-efficiency resources have been developed by the Queensland Government as a means of assisting industry to improve their economic and environmental performance. 

The Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovationand the Department of Environment and Resource Management - ecoBiz Program identified the benefit of supporting these projects from an early stage to improve the competitiveness of the Queensland manufacturing industry whilst reducing the impact on the environment.  The website has been established to provide a focal point for industry to access the latest eco-efficiency information.
